30-Minute Vinyard Trail Ride
Experience Napa Valley from the original rancher’s perspective, riding through the vineyards on horseback! Once welcomed by our guides your group will be introduced to our quality trained horses where you will saddle up before departing the arena and entering the tranquility of our Rapp Ranch Cabernet Vineyard.
Enjoy 30 minutes of solid ride time. Please allocate 1 hour from arrival to departure.
Riders 12+ are welcome with parent or guardian accompaniment.

Reservation Info
Dress Code
Long pants (preferably jeans) and closed toed, heeled boots. Helmets are provided and are required to be worn for the duration of the ride. Cowboy boots are available to borrow at no additional cost (size __ – __).
Age Minimum
12+ / 21+. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent of guardian for the duration of the ride. All guests staying for a wine tasting must be over 21.
Alcohol Policy
Guests determined to be under the influence will be asked to reschedule the experience. We are not able to refund the cost of the experience.
Large Parties
To maintain the intimacy and quality of our experiences for our guests, we kindly request that groups of nine or more contact us directly to arrange your reservation. Please email info@shadybrookestate.com for arrangements.

FAQ
What happens if it rains?
If weather becomes unsafe or uncomfortable for our horses or guests, we will contact you directly to reschedule. This includes rain or excessive heat. If the temperature reaches ninety degrees or higher, we may pause rides for the safety of our animals.
What if I need to cancel?
If we receive your cancellation request more than seven days before your reservation, you will receive a full refund. Because our rides book out well in advance, cancellations within seven days are not eligible for a refund.
If something comes up, we are happy to work with you to find another available date.
Is previous riding experience required?
Can we pair our ride with a wine tasting?
Yes, for our 45-minute trail rides only. Many guests choose to follow their ride with a tasting at Shadybrook Estate. If you would like to add this to your visit, let us know and we can help arrange it.
What should I wear/bring?
Closed toed, heeled shoes and long pants (preferably jeans) are required for all riders.
We provide helmets, and guests are welcome to bring their own approved riding helmets if preferred. Boots are available to borrow at no additional cost. Sunglasses and sunscreen are always helpful.
